Today I am part of the Altenew educator's blog hop and I am very honored. You probably came from the blog of Jaycee Gaspar. You are very welcome to go on all blogs, you will see tons of amazing cards! This hop is all about the floral and geometric elements. I had a little challenge with what geometric to compose into my cards because I don't have a lot of things like that. First I admit I google out what all goes to the geometry, it is far away from fine when I learned math. So I remembered that I have a really good and useful stamp set from Aletenew called Basic borders. I absolutely love this set! It is so useful, we can use it in so many ways and for so many occasions. For florals, there was no problem. I made the cards below.
And this blog hop has also prizes:
Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 1 lucky winner! Please leave a comment here on the Altenew Card Blog by 12/21/2020 for a chance to win.
We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $15 Altenew gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew Winners Page on 12/23/2020.
There’s MORE! What’s a hop without YOU?! We have included an Inlinkz on the Altenew blog for you to enter your gorgeous Altenew “Floral with Geometric Elements” creations. We will pick 2 of our favorite handmade creations from those who joined the linky party and they will each receive a $15 Altenew gift certificate!
I don't know if you remember or if other parts of the world have the same blue splashed water ceramic tiles as we in Slovenia about 40 years ago. So that was my inspiration for this card and I decided to go with a popular slimline card.
For the next cards, I decided to go with Christmas cards. It is time for them now.
The last card is totally for my soul. I love black, but on cards is so hard to use if for the main color. I went out of the box. I went in black. And you will probably ask what pine cones have in common with flowers. They are actually flowers of the pine trees.
I know it is not usually a card and is probably totally different from what you would expect for geometry and floral theme. But I love it. What do you think? Please leave a comment below.
Vem, čisto out of the box, amapk meni je zelo vešč, kaj pa tebi?
