Pust is Slovenian word for maskarade. In past few days there was a lot of parades in big cities around Slovenia. One of the most known and the bigest are in Ptuj and Cerknica.
In Ribnica where I come from there is small one. Let me show you some photos from parade which was this Saturday in Ribnica.

Kurent is traditional mask from Ptuj and they collect handkerchief. They have competition who will collect them more is the best. And of course I always bring it with me and give it to which one notice that I have it. I knot it to his stick, which is part of the mask and then he dance with me or give me a hug.
